Supervision, Training, and Consultancy

Supervision

I offer supervision to therapists and counsellors in private practice and organisations both paying personally and through their organisation. I am qualified to provide supervision to art therapists or any modality where it meets the ethical and professional requirements of the practitioner's membership body and organisation.

My supervision training was completed in July 2026 through Murray's Initiative and COSCA. My supervision work is informed by the Hawkins and Shohet Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision. I offer open ended supervision and one-off sessions to those looking for consultation on specific areas.

Background and Experience

I have over 9 years of post qualifying experience having graduated from QMU as an Art Psychotherapist in 2017. I have undergone lengthy further training in working with complex trauma and dissociation throughout my career and completed training as an EMDR therapist in 2023.

I have solely worked in private practice since 2025 though have significant experience working in the third sector for over 7 years, working with children in primary schools; with adults who have experienced various types of traumas; children and adults affected by childhood sexual abuse; and working systemically with families in a service that worked directly alongside CAMHS.

Training and Consultation

My style of training much like my therapy approach is relational to really help engage those learning. I have offered training to several organisations aimed to develop a deeper understanding on how to practically work with complex trauma and dissociation in a way that builds greater therapeutic outcomes, increased confidence of practitioners, and, empowerment of the clients. I have offered service consultation to ensure clients are held at the heart of decision making and services work for all.

I have recently been a contributor writing chapter 12 in the book 'When Therapy Goes Wrong: Learning from Challenged and Improving Practice' by Satinder Panesar. This book shares the experiences of all the contributors where things went in an unexpected direction with the aim of providing insight into navigating such experiences.
